Introduced in 1953, the Rolex Submariner was among the first dive watches and the very first water resistant up to 100 metres. Its 60-minute rotating bezel helps divers to keep track of their elapsed time underwater. Despite upgrading materials and water resistance to 300 metres over the course of 70 years, the Submariner's design has remained largely unchanged and become the most recognisable in the world, bar none.
