The Code 11.59 was a divisive watch when first released in 2019. However, so was the Royal Oak in the 1970s which has become universally loved today. While the Code 11.59 features an octagonal middle case borrowed from the Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet had differentiated it with not just a round bezel and case back but also a double-curved sapphire crystal, which offers a unique optical experience. Additionally, the collection houses the most complicated Audemars Piguet timepiece to date, the Universelle Ultra-Complication, with a whopping 23 complications.
