Description

This watch is special because it is the official timepiece for the French Army Combat Divers. With only 55 made, it is a very rare and professional 300m dive watch

The dial, case, crystal, and bracelet give this watch a bold, purposeful look. It likely features a clear, easy-to-read dial designed for diving, housed in a sturdy 42 mm steel case. The crystal is strong and durable — likely sapphire or hardened glass — to resist pressure and scratches. The bracelet (or strap) is built tough, designed to stay secure even under harsh conditions, giving the watch a rugged, utilitarian feelod legibility, with day and date displayed through a single stacked aperture instead of two windows, keeping the watch face tidy. The case is slim and modest in diameter, emphasizing subtlety over bulk. Paired with a domed (or slightly domed) crystal and a matching bracelet (or strap, depending on variant), the overall look is classic and refined — a sharp contrast to bulky modern sport watches

Inside, the movement powering this watch is robust and reliable, typical of serious dive watches. It runs automatically, with a self-winding mechanism that removes the need for manual winding. The movement delivers steady timekeeping and is engineered to endure the demands of underwater use, offering stability even under pressure.

Historically, this watch traces its roots to the heritage of ZRC — a brand that first gained prominence by producing professional dive watches for the military. In the 1960s, ZRC’s original dive watches earned official duty with the French Navy and various combat-diver units. The 42 mm “Combat Divers” edition continues that legacy — blending vintage military-inspired design with modern build quality for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
