This timepiece operates on the innovative Seiko Kinetic movement, specifically caliber 7L22 or 9T82 depending on the exact reference. Kinetic technology is a hybrid system; it uses an automatic winding rotor, powered by your arm's motion, to generate electricity and charge a small internal capacitor (accumulator), effectively combining mechanical and quartz watch characteristics. This eliminates the need for regular battery changes. The movement provides a substantial power reserve when fully charged, often lasting for up to five or six months when unworn, and includes a handy energy depletion warning function

Seiko originally launched the Arctura collection in 1997 as a global strategic model, intending it to symbolically represent their groundbreaking Kinetic technology. Renowned international designer Jörg Hysek created the collection's distinctive, ergonomic, arc-inspired style, which featured a sense of unity between the case and the bracelet. • VG 8.0: Moderately used, with scratches and one or two nicks on the case or crystal. Shows signs of polishing. The bracelet remains snug with minimal wear.
• GD 7.5: Shows signs of daily wear but is not abused, with noticeable polishing on the case. The bracelet shows clear signs of daily wear.
