Like many longtime collectors, it is difficult for us to escape the draw of Rolex - the brand that has overcome many odds to stand where it does today, and the Daytona is not only one of their most aspirational models but this example is also in the best condition possible for its discontinued reference.

The Rolex Daytona is among the most desirable watches today, with many pointing to its "perfect proportions" as a main factor. Proportions are challenging to get right, especially in a chronograph, and many brands fall flat. How often do you feel that a chronograph is too thick or its bezel is too broad or its sub dials are too small? Thankfully for the Daytona, perfect proportionality is a cornerstone of Rolex's business, evident from both its watches and marketing.


This example represents the pinnacle of collectability among those of regular production, because, despite the reference's discontinuation in 2016, it remains unworn, fully stickered, and present as a complete set.

This complete set is in new old stock condition and effectively brand new. The case and bracelet retain all their (albeit slightly yellowed) factory stickers and are devoid of scratches. Expectedly, the dial and hands are flawless as well.

What do the different grading scores mean?
  • BN 9.9: Brand new and unworn, with no signs of use.
  • UN 9.5: Like new and unworn, but may lack original packaging or materials such as the box, links, tags, or bezel protector.
  • LN 9.0: Like new and unworn, but only includes the watch without papers, box, or accessories.
  • MT 8.5: Mint condition, lightly used with minor surface scratches or wear. Unpolished.
  • VG 8.0: Moderately used, with scratches and one or two nicks on the case or crystal. Shows signs of polishing. The bracelet remains snug with minimal wear.
  • GD 7.5: Shows signs of daily wear but is not abused, with noticeable polishing on the case. The bracelet shows clear signs of daily wear.

If you win the auction, the Buyer’s Premium will first be charged based on 6% of the Starting Bid Price, initially held as a credit limit block. The remaining balance, calculated as 6% of the difference between the Final and Starting Bid Prices, will then be charged to your credit card. Both amounts will be included in your final invoice. You'll pay a minimum of RM 600.00 or 6% of the final bid amount, whichever is higher, to Watch Unify.
If you do not win the auction, the temporary hold on your credit card for the Buyer’s Premium will be released within 7 days after the auction concludes, in accordance with Stripe’s processing timeline.
The bid increment is RM100. This means that after the Start Bid Price, each subsequent bid must be at least RM100 higher than the previous bid.

Our platform prevents sniping by extending the auction time if a new bid is placed in the final moments. The auction will end as scheduled if no new bids are offered within the last 60 seconds. If you win an auction on Watch Unify, you will receive an email confirming your successful bid. The Buyer’s Premium, based on the final bid price, will be charged to your credit card immediately. An invoice will be issued detailing the final bid price, Buyer’s Premium, and any additional fees, including shipping and insurance if applicable. You must complete payment for the total amount within 5 calendar days of receiving the invoice. Once full payment is received, Watch Unify will handle the transaction and ensure your watch is securely delivered. Please note that the Buyer’s Premium is non-refundable.
