Description

The Omega De Ville Chronoscope GMT stands out because it combines a chronograph, GMT function, and Co-Axial movement in one elegant design. Its unusual dial layout and large case give the watch a bold personality, while the chronometer-certified movement adds strong technical appeal for collectors.

The Omega De Ville Chronoscope GMT 422.10.44.52.13.001 combines sporty details with elegant styling. The brown dial features black subdials, a GMT hand, and a unique date display near 11 o’clock. Applied hour markers and silver-tone hands create strong contrast against the dial. The 44mm stainless steel case has polished and brushed surfaces that give the watch a refined look. Omega protects the dial with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, while the stainless steel bracelet adds weight, comfort, and a solid luxury feel on the wrist.

Inside the watch is the Omega Co-Axial Calibre 3603 automatic movement. This movement includes a chronograph, GMT function, column-wheel system, and Co-Axial escapement. It offers around 52 to 55 hours of power reserve and delivers smooth chronograph operation. Omega also designed the movement as a certified chronometer for strong accuracy and performance. The sapphire case back allows the wearer to view the decorated movement and rotating rotor during operation.

Omega introduced the De Ville Chronoscope GMT collection during the late 2000s as part of its modern De Ville lineup. The model blended dress watch elegance with advanced chronograph and GMT functions, giving the collection a more technical character. The Chronoscope series became known for its unusual dial layout, large case size, and Co-Axial movement technology developed from George Daniels’ escapement design. Today, the 422.10.44.52.13.001 remains a distinctive discontinued Omega model that appeals to collectors who enjoy uncommon and feature-rich De Ville watches.
