The Grand Seiko SBGJ253 stands out with its Asia Limited Edition status and production of only 600 pieces. Its 40 mm stainless steel case, dual-curved sapphire crystal, and Hi-Beat GMT movement combine Grand Seiko’s 44GS design with a practical second-time-zone function.

The Grand Seiko Heritage SBGJ253 stands out with its Mt. Iwate-inspired dial, which captures the changing light of twilight. Its 40 mm stainless steel case features the Grand Seiko 44GS design, while the sapphire crystal protects the dial. A stainless steel bracelet completes the watch.

The watch uses Grand Seiko Caliber 9S86, an automatic Hi-Beat 36000 GMT movement with manual winding. It beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour and provides about 55 hours of power reserve. The GMT hand displays a second time zone, while the date and independently adjustable hour hand add practical functions.

Grand Seiko introduced the SBGJ253 as an Asia Limited Edition in 2021. The model draws from the 44GS design language first established in 1967 and takes inspiration from the twilight sky around Shizukuishi, where Grand Seiko makes its mechanical watches. Grand Seiko limited production to only 600 pieces, making this model a notable part of the Heritage Collection.

  • VG 8.0: Moderately used, with scratches and one or two nicks on the case or crystal. Shows signs of polishing. The bracelet remains snug with minimal wear.
  • GD 7.5: Shows signs of daily wear but is not abused, with noticeable polishing on the case. The bracelet shows clear signs of daily wear.

If you win the auction, the Buyer's Premium will first be charged based on 6% of the Starting Bid Price, initially held as a credit limit block. The remaining balance, calculated as 6% of the difference between the Final and Starting Bid Prices, will then be charged to your credit card. Both amounts will be included in your final invoice. You'll pay a minimum of RM 600.00 or 6% of the final bid amount, whichever is higher, to Watch Unify.
The bid increment is RM100. This means that after the Start Bid Price, each subsequent bid must be at least RM100 higher than the previous bid.
You can set a maximum bid amount on the bidding page, and our system will automatically place incremental bids of RM100 on your behalf up to that amount.
If you are outbid, you will receive a notification. You can then choose to place a higher bid before the auction ends.
Our platform prevents sniping by extending the auction time if a new bid is placed in the final moments. The auction will end as scheduled if no new bids are offered within the last 60 seconds. However, if a bid is placed during the final 60 seconds, the auction will be extended by 3 minutes. This process repeats with each new bid, ensuring all bidders have a fair chance to participate.
Once a bid has been placed, it cannot be withdrawn.
If you win an auction on Watch Unify, you will receive an email confirming your successful bid. The Buyer's Premium, based on the final bid price An invoice will be issued detailing the final bid price, Buyer's Premium, and any additional fees, including shipping and insurance if applicable. You must complete payment for the total amount within 5 calendar days of receiving the invoice. Once full payment is received, Watch Unify will handle the transaction and ensure your watch is securely delivered. Please note that the Buyer's Premium is non-refundable.
